LI SYSTEM TABLE UPGRADE
The functionality of your LI System is greatly enhanced by the utility cart included. This upgrade provides your LI System with a fully-integrated spray table basin – an ideal location to hold your parts while metalizing, and a convenient method of collecting solution runoff.
The bottom shelf of the cart serves as a place to hold the (4) Pump Sprayers. Each color accented Spray Wand is placed and hung on the top side edge of the cart for easy access during the sequential metalizing process. And a drainage tube allows solution runoff to collect in a bucket placed on the bottom shelf.
To set up your utility cart, follow the instructions below:
Before you assemble the utility cart, place the top shelf upside down and locate the pre-drilled 1/2″ hole in the center of the plastic triangular grid as shown. Gravity will pull the runoff solutions into the hole and down a drainage tube, which will be installed next.
Locate the 18″ clear plastic 1/2″ diameter tubing included with your LI System. Place the plastic hose into the hole so that it protrudes to the topside of the shelf by 3/4″ inch or so.
Apply the included adhesive caulk around the clear hose so that it fills in the triangular space around the hose. This will serve to seal the hose into the top shelf, and allow drainage to the bottom shelf without leaking.
Be sure to allow the caulk to dry completely overnight.
After the adhesive caulk has dried completely overnight; turn the top shelf over, and cut the clear hose flush with the basin plastic. Use a single edge razor blade to make a clean, flush cut.
Assemble the cart as per manufacturer instructions. Attach the handle of the cart at the opposite end of the drain hole.

We suggest a 5 gallon bucket/lid on the bottom shelf and use it as a reservoir to collect the runoff solutions.
The clear hose is the correct length to drain runoff solutions from the topshelf to a reservoir placed in the bottom shelf.
